• The Swisstec team visited Brunei to present solutions directly to the Minister of Health.

October 2023

• A follow-up visit to Brunei to meet the Minister of Health and explore collaborations with local partners. Focus areas included remote patient monitoring, digital training for nursing, collaboration with a local telecom company on remote patient monitoring services and meetings with the developers of BruHealth, Brunei’s national health platform.

January 2024

• Swisstec team visited Brunei to meet with the Minister of Health, JPMC, and PJSC to discuss pilot projects and move towards an MoU.

March 2024

• Swisstec participated in the ASEAN-Australia 50th Special Summit in Melbourne, represented by Costar, Afifa, and Hafimi.

• An MoU with Progresif (telecom company) was confirmed to roll out a remote patient monitoring pilot study.

• Discussions with government officials from Brunei and Australia reaffirmed Swisstec’s presence in Southeast Asia through a Brunei HQ and highlighted the benefits of the Darwin-Brunei relationship.

June 2024

• Dr Ashiesh and the Swisstec team visited Brunei to further discuss teleradiology with PJSC and JPMC.

• An MoU was signed with EVYD Tech.

July 2024

• Specialist Direct, a Swisstec company, presented the Mira platform at a joint event in Singapore hosted by A*STAR and EVYD Technologies.

• An MoU was signed with JPMC College of Health Sciences.

August 2024

• Dr Naveed and the Swisstec team visited to complete VC registration requirements and initiate remote patient monitoring cohorts with various clinicians.

• Updates on activities were provided to the Ministry of Health.
